A new season drops in October. Supernatural mysteries, urban legends, paranormal explorations, real ghost stories, the unexplained and the unknown. As the veil between worlds begins to thin, more Selfies From the Underworld become visible.
A brand new season of Haunted Hospitals debuts on T+E, featuring recurring cast member Christopher Allen Brewer (seen in one of the clips below). Seasons 4 & 5 have yet to premier in the United States but we're crossing our fingers they'll be picked up for general release on Travel Channel, Discovery +, Amazon prime and iTunes.
Says Christopher, "There were several truly riveting stories I was able to comment on and I’m always astounded with the bravery of the individuals involved, as well as the amazing work by the production team. Truly grateful to have been a part of the recurring cast and excited for this fifth season. Stay tuned to T+E, my friends!"

DEADTIME DINER SEASON 2 EPISODE 1: CRYSTAL VALLEY CEMETERY

Fall 2023 was a very rewarding albeit short season and we will miss it, though we are certainly relieved that we can breathe for a bit. October flew by so fast this year but we were grateful for all of the events we participated in and all the people we were able to interact with. Somehow we were able to churn out six Deadtime Diner episodes in addition to season 17 of SpiritChasers (our yearly paranormal Halloween special). Christopher flew out of the country to film a new season of a popular supernatural series and went back and forth to Denver every weekend for a myriad of events. We were honored to be invited to speak at the City Auditorium and for all the guests who attended our paranormal presentation. We were most grateful for time with our BFFs, especially our time spent at Chatfield Farms (as seen in this video). That was our favorite part of last month, tapping into nature, communing with the elemental spirits under the trees in a secluded part of the farm, asking for a fall blessing and then being showered with leaves. We really held communion with it, that Halloween spirit which has moved its strange carnival on to another place. Next year we vow to start earlier and hold onto autumn as long and tight as we can. It’s snowing here in Colorado Springs now and the nights are definitely darker. Time for writing and for dreaming it all up again. Happy November to all of you. 🍁❤️

Some scenes from our breathtaking visit to the Land of Enchantment, New Mexico. From haunted sites to holy sites, we can’t pick a favorite. We thoroughly enjoyed everything, from the stillness at Los Luceros to the childlike wonder at the House of Eternal Return. Still walking between both worlds as we left, in Meow Wolf cyberpunk t-shirts and pockets full of holy water. Looking forward to more adventure next time in the mysterious San Luis Valley.
Some humorous outtakes taken during location scouting in New Orleans last July. This was for a paranormal special we were filming. Our last investigation took us to the Rampart Street Murder House featured in Paranormal Lockdown. Looks like we were suffering from heat exhaustion. 😆
This is New Orleans French Quarter at night. And this is Name That Tune! First person to message us with the name of the song in this video will be sent a very special prize. I doubt you’ll guess it, but it’s an alternative song from the late 80’s/early 90’s with lines from a traditional Haitian Vodou song. Why this one? Around this time last year, FUTURE GHOST stayed in the heart of the French Quarter at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel. We were thrown headfirst into a world of voodoo, vampires and spirits. Our hotel was haunted, the St. Louis Cathedral we were across from was haunted, and around the corner from us lied several other very paranormally-active places.
We played this song while we got ready to go out in the evenings. We’d have Interview With the Vampire playing on an iPad as one of its balcony scenes was filmed only a couple blocks away. On our top floor was an old ballroom which was home to specters of Creole society from the 1800’s. We’d hang out there before going to bed, undisturbed and alone, listening and watching in the dark, hoping to peer into that other realm.
We went out every night looking for vampires and investigating some very well-known haunts. An alleyway across the street from our hotel was haunted by a monk buried inside the cathedral. He was seen late in the evenings and we were always watching for him as we loitered in the shadows of Pirate Alley. We hung out around the former home of St. Germain, who was known as an Immortal, sitting across the street from the Vampire Cafe and the Boutique Du Vampyre. We listened to all of the real vampire legends there, drunk off all of the lore, staring up at the windows of St. Germain’s with longing.
We were also a block away from the New Orleans Historic Voodoo Museum, where we visited with a Voudon priest, who let us handle his ceremonial staff. We bought a Caxixi rattle there, used for calling spirits in rituals. We purchased gris-gris bags, beads, tokens for offerings, special mirrors - anything to help facilitate contact with the Otherworld. We investigated the Rampart Street Murder House, featured in Paranormal Lockdown and pined outside of the LaLaurie Mansion, St. Louis Cemetery No. 1, the haunted Pharmacy Museum and the former home of voodoo queen Marie Laveau. Some places were closed to us due to the pandemic, but fortunately the late-night carriage rides were not, which took us all over the French Quarter, stopping in front of countless legendary haunts while lightning flashed overhead. It was an unforgettable trip. So many strands left askew of that living ghost story and we are looking forward to returning once more.

This is an Oglala Lakota’s view on cultural appropriation and spirituality. I’m sometimes asked about my personal feelings regarding this hot topic as it relates to my work in the paranormal field, so here they are. 13 minutes of them. And related things.

The first six episodes of Christopher's new electronic communiqués are available now! What are these, exactly? Says Christopher:
"A friend went looking for Electronic Signatures on YouTube and found a bunch of tutorials on e-signatures. She thought my videos were business related. I suppose it depends on the business. But in my case the e is for esoteric.
I thought of all the digital traces we leave behind, digital shadows and ghosts, electronic footsteps and fingerprints. We’re machines making machines. But somewhere under all that circuitry is a beating heart and beyond that, a spirit. I thought it was going to be a commentary on supernatural events, which it kind of is, but it wanted to include and honor the realm of dreams. So I relented.
I come from a race of storytellers and at the end of the day or the end of the world, when the WiFi fails and the only machines left are biological, the gift of story is what will persevere and remain. All of this technology to tell and support a story. And these are some of mine. And like my best dreams I hope they read as strange, weird, touching, creepy, poetic, unsettling, emotional, interesting. Which could all describe most first dates of mine.
Byte-size and bona fide, I also wanted these looking very handmade. A late-night program you only saw because you just woke up to turn off the TV and saw this on PBS. They were also partially inspired by Laurie Anderson’s old PSAs. Pandemic on the loose? Confined to the house? What to do? Do you dream? Do you dream in color? Do you remember your dreams? Will these stories jog something from your subconscious and stimulate your dreams? Take a byte and find out."

WE ALL FEEL BETTER IN THE DARK.
Us ghost hunters, anyway. We use infrared and full-spectrum cameras to see in the dark, FLIR cameras to show us temperature variations, SLS cameras to create a model of figures unseen to our eyes, we can tune into the spirit world and record sounds and voices from another realm. We are now able to do things which took saints and mystics years to achieve through the most rigorous training and discipline. So what are we doing with it? Playing with the Victorian novelty of sitting in the dark watching a flashlight blink on and off, or are we out in the field trying something new? Whatever darkness you find yourself crossing on this night when the veil between worlds is at its most thin, we are wishing all of our friends, colleagues and supporters a most supernaturally stimulating Halloween!

On April 28th, 2012, a Biography Channel episode of My Ghost Story : Caught On Camera premiered in the U.S. featuring Christopher & James from FUTURE GHOST. Their story concerned a network of underground caverns which the Utes believed to be a sacred entrance to the Underworld. It was Christopher’s first of two episodes shot for this series. After the Lifetime Movie Network purchased the series, the show eventually went into hiatus and production was discontinued. That story focused on a former cemetery in Denver, a story which FUTURE GHOST is still planning to release this year. In the meantime, enjoy these highlights from their very first episode!

One of the EVPs we recorded during our stay aboard the Queen Mary. We had inquired about the infamous spirit vortex in the pool room, and what it was about this room that would feature such a phenomena. Our guide brought our attention to the ceiling, which we initially thought was inlaid with Mother of Pearl. We were informed that it was actually quartz crystal, a natural conductor, amplifier and director of energy. In the audio sample, you can hear our guide describing the properties of the ceiling, when 4 seconds in the voice of an unknown male can be heard breathily whispering, "save me".
